Socio Minorini Lima Ignacio J.

Ignacio leads the Administrative & Regulatory Law department and is a partner in the Energy and Litigation, International Arbitration & Insolvency and Bankruptcy departments.

He has developed extensive experience advising local and international companies on regulatory and energy issues, and resolving disputes in national and international arbitration proceedings.

In the area of energy and economic regulation, he provides advice in different regulated sectors such as power generation -both conventional and renewable-, natural gas, infrastructure, administrative contracts, public services -transportation and distribution of gas and electricity, water systems drinking water and sewage, railways- and other regulated activities.

In the dispute resolution area, he advises and actively intervenes in commercial and investment disputes in accordance with nationally and internationally recognized arbitration regulations.

Prior to his joining the firm, he served as a foreign associate in international dispute resolution at the New York office of Debevoise & Plimpton, LLP.

In the academic field, he is a professor of Administrative Law at the Faculty of Law of the Universidad de Buenos Aires, a professor of the Master of Law and Economics at the Faculty of Law of the Universidad de Buenos Aires and a visiting professor of the Master of Administrative Law from the Southern University.

He is a member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR and vice president of the Arbitration Commission of the Argentine Chamber of Commerce and Services. He has been a regional representative of the Young Arbitrators Forum of the International Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Steering Committee of the IBA Arb 40 of the IBA Arbitration Committee and a member of the Editorial Board of the publication IBA Arbitration News.

He has published articles on administrative law and arbitration issues in Argentina and abroad.

In turn, he has been distinguished in his area of practice as one of the leading lawyers by Chambers & Partners and Legal 500. In his arbitration practice, he has been recognized by the publication Who’s Who Legal – Global Arbitration Review as Thought Leader in Argentina.
