Bruchou & Funes de Rioja honored with two distinctions at the IFLR Americas Awards 2025

Bruchou & Funes de Rioja has been recognized as Argentina Law Firm of the Year for the second consecutive year at the 2025 International Financial Law Review (IFLR) Americas Awards, reaffirming the firm’s position as a leading name in the Latin American legal practice.

The IFLR “National Law Firm of the Year” category highlights firms involved in the most relevant and innovative cross-border transactions over the past year. This recognition underscores the complexity and significance of the matters our clients bring to us and their trust in our ability to provide insightful, business-focused legal solutions. It also shows the strength of our team: professionals with deep expertise, integrity, and a shared commitment to excellence.

The ceremony took place at The Metropolitan Club in New York City, where partners Mariano Luchetti and Carlos Lombardi accepted the award on behalf of the firm.

In addition to the firm award, Carlos Lombardi, one of the founding partners, received the Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing his longstanding career and influential role in shaping the evolution of the originally known Bruchou, Fernández Madero & Lombardi, now Bruchou & Funes de Rioja.

Over more than three decades, Carlos has played a pivotal role in many landmark transactions and in shaping the firm’s long-term institutional model. He is also widely respected for mentoring generations of professionals who now lead the firm.
