We advised Arcor SAIC, one of the most significant industrial groups in the food sector in Argentina, on the formation of a strategic joint venture with Danone to establish a leading company in the dairy market. The transaction contemplates both the acquisition of controlling interests in Mastellone Hermanos S.A. and the contribution of the existing shareholdings of Arcor and Danone in Mastellone Hermanos S.A. and Danone Argentina S.A., which hold iconic brands such as La Serenísima and Ser.
This joint venture represents a strategic step for both companies, strengthening their positioning in a key, high-growth segment. Closing of the transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals.
