Bruchou & Funes de Rioja recognized at the 2026 LatinFinance Awards for VMOS US$2 billion financing

The US$2 billion financing of Vaca Muerta Oil Sur (VMOS), in which Bruchou & Funes de Rioja acted as legal advisor to VMOS, was named “Oil & Gas Deal of the Year” at the 2026 LatinFinance Project & Infrastructure Finance Awards.

The Vaca Muerta Sur Pipeline project represents one of Argentina’s most significant private infrastructure projects in decades and marks the reopening of the country’s international project finance market. The transaction also represents the largest commercial loan for an infrastructure project in Argentina’s history, supporting the expansion of the country’s oil export capacity and the development of Vaca Muerta.

The awards ceremony was held in New York and was attended by Leandro E. Belusci, partner in our Banking & Capital Markets team, on behalf of the firm.
