Elimination of the Statistical System of Imports (“SEDI”)

General Jointly Resolution No. 5651 (“GJR 5651”) issued by the Collection and Customs Control Agency (“ARCA”, as per its acronym in Spanish) and the Secretariat of Industry and Commerce, published in the Official Gazette on 02.25.2025 and effective as of 02.26.2025,abrogated General Jointly Resolution No. 5429 of the former Federal Tax Administration (“AFIP”, as per its acronym in Spanish) and the Secretariat of Commerce of the Ministry of Economy and sections 1 to 9, 13, y 14 of the General Jointly Resolution No. 5466/2023 and section 1 subsection a) of General Jointly Resolution No. 5478, both issued by AFIP y and the former Secretariat of Commerce of the Ministry of Economy. Therefore, the Statistical System of Imports (“SEDI“) and complementary regulations are eliminated in order to simplify and normalize foreign trade.

Also, GJR 5651 states that declarations already registered in the SEDI will remail without effect as of 26.02.2025.
