Socio Bazán José María
Biography

José Bazán has developed his entire career at the Firm as a member of the Firm’s Banking & Finance team and between 2009 and 2010, he practiced as foreign associate in Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton LLP (New York).

In his daily practice at the Firm, he advises banks, private equity funds and corporations in local and international banking and capital markets transactions. He has participated in a significant number of transactions involving debt securities (private and sovereign), equity offerings, tender offers and regulatory matters. He also has vast experience in bank financings and securitizations, as well as in debt restructurings.

Bazán teaches “Implementación de Negocios Financieros” at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, Argentina.

He obtained a law degree with honors from the Law School of Universidad Católica Argentina in 2004.

Additionally, he has been recognized in his field of practice by Chambers & Partners, Legal 500 and International Financial Law Review.
