Socio Camauer Francisco

Francisco Camauer is partner at the Litigation, International Arbitration & Bankruptcy Department and co-leads the Corporate Conflict Platform.

He has extensive experience as corporate counsel in international arbitration, handling disputes in the energy, oil & gas, and engineering & construction sectors. He is also highly experienced in complex litigation involving corporate, contractual, and tort disputes.

In the field of insolvency, bankruptcy, and restructuring, he has developed significant expertise representing companies in private debt restructurings, out-of-court reorganization agreements, reorganization proceedings, and bankruptcy filings. He has also represented creditors and trustees in these proceedings.

He currently teaches in the postgraduate Corporate Legal Advice program at Universidad Católica Argentina, where he also teaches the Advanced Insolvency Law course.

Before joining the firm, Mr. Camauer was a partner at Estudio Matta y Trejo (2020–2022) and Estudio Platter – Camauer (2016–2020). He was previously a senior associate at Estudio Alegría, Buey Fernández, Fissore & Montemerlo (2002–2016). He has published extensively on topics within his areas of expertise in specialized journals.

He graduated from Universidad Católica Argentina and holds an LL.M. from Columbia University (2009).
