Bruchou & Funes de Rioja was recognized for its legal advisory role in the Vaca Muerta Oil Sur (VMOS) US$2 billion financing, awarded “Oil & Gas Deal of the Year” at the 2026 LatinFinance Project & Infrastructure Finance Awards.

We advised VMOS on its US$2 billion syndicated loan to finance the Vaca Muerta Sur Pipeline project, one of Argentina’s most significant private infrastructure projects in decades. The transaction marked the reopening of Argentina’s international project finance market and represents the largest commercial loan for an infrastructure project in the country’s history, supporting the expansion of Argentina’s oil export capacity and the development of Vaca Muerta.

The awards ceremony was held in New York and was attended by Leandro E. Belusci, partner in our Banking & Capital Markets team, on behalf of the firm.
