We advised Minas Argentinas on its inaugural issuance of Notes for US$3,605,071
Bruchou & Funes de Rioja advised Minas Argentinas S.A. (“MASA”) and TCA Tanoira Cassagne advised Balanz Capital Valores S.A.U. e Inviu S.A.U. as placement agents (the “Placement Agents”), in the issuance of the Class 1 Notes, denominated and payable in US dollars in Argentina for a nominal amount of US$3,.605,071, which will accrue interest at a fixed rate of 8% and will mature on February 19, 2027.
MASA is dedicated to the exploration and production of precious metals. It holds mining rights in the provinces of San Juan and La Rioja. The Gualcamayo Mine has been producing gold and silver since 2009 and is the company’s main asset. Currently, it is also developing a new project, Deep Carbonates, with which it plans to extend the productive life of the Gualcamayo mine for another two decades.
MASA will allocate the funds obtained from the placement primarily to the photovoltaic solar renewable energy generation project to be located in San Luis, developed through the special purpose vehicle Calicanto Solar S.A., an affiliate of the Issuer.
