Argentine Central Bank relaxes rules to access the FX Market

On August 8, 2024, the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic (“BCRA” for its acronym in Spanish) issued the Communication “A” 8085 (“Com. 8085”) which:
- As of August 14, 2024, increases to USD 100,000 (one hundred thousand dollars) the daily amount from which it is necessary to schedule Fx Transactions involving the outflow of funds as a requirement for the access to the foreign exchange market (“Fx Market”) and;
- Eliminates as of August 9, 2024 the Record of Exporters and Importers of FX Information Registry for Exporters and Importers of Goods.
