We advised MSU S.A. on a US$60 million secured syndicated loan
Bruchou & Funes de Rioja advised MSU S.A., a leading agribusiness company in Argentina, and Tavarone Rovelli Salim Mianiadvised a syndicate of 4 financial institutions in the granting of a secured syndicated loan for an amount of US$60,000,000 under Argentine law (the “Syndicated Loan”).
The syndicate was formed by Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires S.A., Banco de la Nación Argentina, Banco de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, and Banco de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires (the “Lenders”).
Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires S.A. acted as arranger, administrative agent, and security agent of the Syndicated Loan.
The Syndicated Loan is secured by a first-priority pledge over the shares held by Inversiones Agroganaderas S.A.U. and MSU S.A. in Oro Esperanza Agro S.A., as well as by two first-priority mortgages over a peanut processing plant and a rural property located in the Province of Santa Fe.
