We advised on Vela LatAm’s Acquisition of Axoft Argentina
Bruchou & Funes de Rioja and Beccar Varela acted as legal advisors in the transaction through which Vela LatAm acquired 100% of the share capital of Axoft Argentina, the developer of Tango Software.
Founded in Buenos Aires in 1988, Axoft Argentina is one of the most established companies in Argentina’s software industry. Its flagship product, Tango Software, is one of the country’s most widely used business management systems, with a strong presence among SMEs, businesses, and accounting firms. The company has more than 300 employees and a portfolio of solutions covering administrative and accounting management, human resources, point-of-sale systems, restaurant management, and cloud-based tools.
The transaction marks Vela LatAm’s entry into the Argentine market. Vela LatAm, which has already acquired 27 companies across Latin America, specializes in vertical market software. Axoft will continue to operate independently, retaining its brand, team, management, and commercial strategy.

Beccar Varela advised Vela LatAm through a team led by Tomás Allende, Partner in the M&A practice, and Santiago Montezanti, Partner in the Tax Law practice, with the participation of Senior Associate Mercedes Pando and Associate Sofía Benegas Lynch.
