We advised Central Puerto S.A. in the acquisition of Guañizuil IIA Solar Park
Bruchou & Funes de Rioja and MHR Abogados legally assisted Central Puerto S.A. (“CEPU”) and Equinor Wind Power and Scatec Solar, respectively, in the acquisition of Cordillera Solar VIII S.A. and Scatec Equinor Solutions Argentina S.A., owner and operator, respectively, of the Guañizuil IIA Solar Park, located in the Province of San Juan, with a nominal capacity of approximately 117Mwdc.
The purchase and sale of 100% of the capital stock and voting rights of Cordillera Solar VIII S.A. and Scatec Equinor Solutions Argentina S.A. by Proener S.A.U., a subsidiary of CEPU, was executed and closed on October 18, 2023. With the acquisition of its first solar farm, CEPU achieves another diversification milestone in its energy matrix as part of its expansion and consolidation strategy in the renewable energy market.

Equinor Wind Power, a Norwegian public company listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), is a multinational energy company with presence in more than 30 countries.
Scatec Solar, a Norwegian public company listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange (OSE), is a multinational renewable energy generation company with 3,142Mw of installed capacity.
Bruchou & Funes de Rioja legally assisted CEPU through an interdisciplinary team integrated by the following members (i) M&A: Nicolás Dulce, María Gulias and Delfina Necol, and (ii) Banking: Lucila Dorado, Manuel Etchevehere, Malena Tarrio and Pedro Azumendi. The team was also supported by Gabriel Lozano, antitrust, and Manuel Olcese and Carolina de Felipe, corporate.
