Bruchou, Fernández Madero & Lombardi acted as legal counsel of Amwins Global Risks, one of the largest and most diversified international specialty insurance distribution firms, headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States of America, in the acquisition of a minority stake of Special Risk Consultants S.A. & Strategic Reinsurance Consulting S.A. (SRC Group) share capital, leaders in the Latin-American reinsurance intermediation market.

Amwins Global Risks operates under the THB Group (THB) brand in Latin America and has a commercial partnership with SRC Group for fifteen years now. By joining Amwins’s Latin American network, SRC Group will gain new possibilities for growth, increased competitiveness and strengthened service to clients in the region. The parties envision building upon their current partnership will mutually enhancing current and future business relationships utilizing the THB network.

The transaction was conducted through a stock purchase agreement and was held on January 20, 2022.
