We advised Vista Energy Argentina S.A.U. on obtaining a loan of up to US$100,000,000
Bruchou & Funes de Rioja advised Vista Energy Argentina S.A.U. (“Vista Energy”), in its capacity as borrower and TCA Tanoira Cassagne advised Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Argentina) S.A.U., in its capacity as lender, in the structuring of a loan agreement for the pre-financing of exports for up to US$100,000,000.
The financing provides for one or more disbursements in foreign currency and will enable Vista Energy to further strengthen its position as one of the leading energy exporters in the country.
Vista is a leading independent operator, with its core assets located in Vaca Muerta, the largest shale oil and gas play under development outside of North America.
This transaction forms part of Vista’s broader financing strategy aimed at continuing the development of unconventional resources, increasing its foreign currency generation capacity through energy exports, and strengthening its international profile as a competitive and sustainable energy producer.
