Vientos Bonaerenses S.A. (“Vientos Bonaerenses”), a leading company in the electric energy sector, entered into a financing agreement with the Inter-American Investment Corporation (“IDB Invest”), a member of the Inter-American Development Bank Group, for an amount of up to US$ 100,000,000, structured as an A/B loan, with a tranche of up to US$ 20,000,000 funded by IDB Invest and a syndicated tranche of up to US$ 80,000,000 mobilized through international financial institutions, aimed at financing the completion of phases 3 and 4 of the “Vientos Bonaerenses” wind farm, which will increase the company’s installed capacity and revenue generation. Under this financing, AES Argentina Generación S.A. (“AES”) acted as guarantor.
