We advised the initial purchasers and local placement agents on the international issuance of debt securities by the Province of Neuquén for US$500,000,000
On July 30, 2026, the Province of Neuquén (the “Province”), a province of the Republic of Argentina, successfully issued in the international capital markets its US$500,000,000 Notes, due 2034, which bear interest at a rate of 7.350% per annum, issued under the Program for the Financing of Infrastructure and Debt Repayment of Neuquén (the “Notes”).
J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Santander US Capital Markets LLC and Balanz Capital UK LLP acted as initial purchasers in connection with the issuance of the Notes (the “Initial Purchasers”).
Banco Santander Argentina S.A. and Balanz Capital Valores S.A.U. acted as Argentine placement agents in connection with the issuance of the Notes (the “Argentine Placement Agents”).
The Province was assisted by a legal team composed of: (i) Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP as United States counsel to the Province through a team led by partners Juan G. Giráldez and Ignacio Lagos, and associates Juan Ignacio Leguizamo and Lara Gómez Tomei, and international lawyer Matias Chaves; and (ii) TCA Tanoira Cassagne as Argentine law counsel to the Province through a team led by partners Alexia Rosenthal and Jaime Uranga, and associates Juan Manuel Simó, Teófilo Trusso and Mario Ignacio Larreguy Revol.
