We advised AES Argentina in the issuance of Notes for US$50,000,000

New Deal - August 10, 2026

On August 6, 2026, AES Argentina Generación S.A. (“AES Argentina”), a leading company in the electric energy sector, successfully issued its Series 3 simple, non-convertible notes denominated, payable and settled in U.S. dollars in Argentina, at a fixed nominal annual rate of 6.47%, due in 2028 (the “Notes”). The Notes were issued for an aggregate principal amount of US$50,000,000, and pursuant to AES Argentina’s Global Program of up to US$500,000,000 (or its equivalent in other currencies and/or units).

The Notes, maturing on August 6, 2028, accrue interest at a fixed nominal annual rate of 6.47%. The principal of the Notes will be repaid in a single installment on its maturity date.

The Notes were admitted for listing on Bolsas y Mercados Argentinos S.A. and authorized for trading on A3 Mercados S.A. (formerly Mercado Abierto Electrónico S.A.). Additionally, the Notes were rated “AA-(arg)” with a “stable outlook” by FIX.
