Bruchou, Fernández Madero & Lombardi acted as legal advisor to Ribera Desarrollos S.A. (“RDSA”) in the approval of its insolvency proceedings (“concurso preventivo”).
RDSA is the real estate developer of the landmark “Al Rio” project comprised of more than 200,000 sq. meters of residential, commercial and buildings. The project is located in a privileged area of Vicente López, in the Northern end of the City of Buenos Aires.
RDSA filed its concurso preventivo proceedings in February 2019.
Bruchou was hired in late 2020 by RDSA at a critical stage.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, the real estate and litigation teams of Bruchou led the design of the legal strategy, obtaining the approval to the restructuring proposal of the majority of creditors representing 90% of the outstanding debt, largely fulfilling the requirements of the Argentine Bankruptcy Law.
